Chinese pediatrics is a clinical subject and occupies an important position in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). This course is opened on the basis of the above online course, so basic theories of TCM are applied to Chinese pediatrics. But the physiological and pathological features of children are different from the adult, so diagnoses and treatment are not the simple epitome of the adult. The content of Chinese pediatrics is divided into five parts including basis of Chinese pediatrics, diagnoses and treatment of common diseases, epidemic diseases, complex diseases of children and neonatal diseases, 40 diseases in total. This course requests the students to master, grasp and be familiar with the etiology, pathology, syndrome differentiation and treatment of common diseases and frequent diseases in pediatric department, to understand prevention and health protection.
